More than 640, 000 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine are expected to be received by Canada from Pfizer Inc. and Moderna within the week.
Pfizer Inc. has announced their plan to send vaccines to the nation every week until they reach the four million doses that they were promised to receive by March.
With this, Moderna has stated that they will be sending their vaccines nationwide every three weeks. This plan includes most northern and remote parts of the nation.
Meanwhile, Health Canada has confirmed that they will start speeding up the vaccination process in northern communities, knowing the difficulty to reallocate products in the area.
Provinces nationwide have started broadening the scope of vaccine receivers because of the influx of Covid-19 vaccines arriving in Canada.
Because of this, three out of ten provinces -- Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Alberta -- have announced that senior citizens can now proceed with their vaccinations in their respective communities.
