MILLIONS OF CALIFORNIANS ASET TO RECEIVE STATE-FUNDED STIMULUS CHECKS

California Officials have approved the $600 stimulus payment to be given to more than five million California residents who were severely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The stimulus payment will be included in the state-wide coronavirus relief package for low and moderate-income earners. Governor Gavin Newsom is expected to sign the relief package today, February 23, 2021.

The relief package of almost $1,200 is to go into the pockets of Californians who didn't receive the previous stimulus packages, immigrants, and people with disabilities.

According to the Franchise Tax Board, those who are eligible for the package will have to wait 45 to 60 days after receiving their state tax refund.

The money is said to come from 40 million taxpayers and the residents who weren't severely affected by the pandemic.
